SHERATON HOTEL Hyderabad Gachibowli announced the appointment of Vikas Sharma as the General Manager. With over twenty years of versatile experience, Vikas’ is known as a strategic business leader in the industry. Before joining Sheraton Hotel Hyderabad Gachibowli, he was the Director of Operations at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore.
Vikas started his career at The Oberoi, Cecil, where he was largely responsible in assisting the F&B department. Post this, he was associated with the Trident Hotels for a period of four years, where he started as an F&B Supervisor and went on to become a Food & Beverage Manager. He was also the F&B manager for The Leela Palaces & Resorts, Wildflower Hall, The Oberoi Group of Hotels. It was with the experience of just a little over a decade that he became the Director of F&B at Four Seasons, Mumbai.
Vikas is a driven individual whose work ethos have led him to achieve revenue goals and garner outstanding guest satisfaction. He has exhibited success at risk analysis, future concept planning and execution, provide excellent standards of service and guiding the company towards an upward direction with positive trends. During his tenure at Four Seasons Mumbai, Vikas has been credited with starting the concept of Pop Up Night clubs which have now been adopted by many cities across the country.
As the General Manager, Vikas will be in charge of the overseeing everything that goes around the property. He will take helm on managing profitability, achieving revenue goals, ensuring associate satisfaction and strategize on human resources activities and building stronger relations with owners and partners alike.
In his spare time, Vikas prefers to play and watch cricket. He is also a foodie and loves trying out various cuisines at different restaurants
