Culinary schools like The Culinary Institute of America, Johnsons & Wales as well as many international hotel schools also carry Victorinox’s professional range and moving forward HORECA will be a business focus in key markets too,” says Martin Schnellmann, International Senior Sales Manager Commercial Cutlery, Victorinox AG.

Sharing more on what products and solutions Victorinox AG specifically offers the hospitality sector, Schnellmann says, “Considering the different requirements for professional usage, we have the new HACCP compliant knives on offer for the hospitality sector. Specially colour-coded for their intended use, the knives offer solutions for all different uses. Reflecting on our brand’s mission to ensure you are best prepared with smart and masterful solutions, these knives offer sharp, lightweight and balanced design embodying our Swiss quality standards based on our 140 years of experience in knife-making.” He adds that all Victorinox knives are made of first-class stainless steel and come with a lifetime guarantee against any defects in material and workmanship. “The handles are crafted to resist high temperatures required during sterilisation and can be sterilised up to 110°C. All our professional products have been tested by NSF International and meets the standards of NSF / ANSI 2 and all other applicable requirements marked with the NSF icon,” he says. The nonslip handles guarantee safe work and stability whilst the excellent edge retention ensures a long-life span, offering pronounced sharpness and maximum durability.
