Wyndham Hotels & Resorts continues its strategic expansion in India by signing three new hotels to solidify its presence in the country. These new properties, located in key locations of Jammu, Nainital and Gurugram, reflect Wyndham's ongoing efforts to cater to the growing demand for upscale and midscale hotels in India.
The first agreement, with M/s Triple S, will bring the Ramada Encore by Wyndham to Jammu, slated to open in 2026. Located on Akhnoor Road, the 54-room hotel will feature modern amenities, including a lobby lounge, all-day dining restaurant and bar, health club, spa, and event spaces.
In Nainital, Uttarakhand, Wyndham has partnered with Naini Habitat Developers Private Limited to launch Ramada Resort and Residences by Wyndham. Expected to open in 2027, this greenfield project will offer 155 keys, including villas, along with banquet halls, meeting rooms, a fitness centre, and recreational facilities. The resort is set to provide guests with stunning mountain views and proximity to outdoor activities like hiking and boating.
The third hotel, a Ramada Encore by Wyndham in Gurugram, Haryana, will open by the end of this year. Developed in partnership with AS Hotels & Residences Private Limited, this 91-room property is part of the mixed-use Elan Miracle project on Dwarka Expressway, featuring dining options, a gym, banquet halls, and a swimming pool.
Dimitris Manikis, President EMEA, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts stated, “We are delighted to announce the signing of Ramada Encore by Wyndham in Jammu. This signing reaffirms our commitment to our continued growth in the mid-market segment.”
“Ramada Resort and Residences in Nainital and Ramada Encore by Wyndham in New Gurugram are the development mix in this venture that is aligned to offer memorable experiences to our guests. The brand strives to deliver a ‘Refresh, Relax and Connect’ experience to its guests. Modern amenities, vibrant social spaces, and convenient locations make Ramada Encore a great place to connect with colleagues and friends,” he added.
These new signings underscore Wyndham's ongoing expansion strategy in India, where it currently operates 63 hotels and has more than 40 in the pipeline.
