The Leela Gandhinagar introduces its senior leadership team

The Leela Gandhinagar has announced the appointment of its senior leadership team comprising highly accomplished individuals committed to offering guests a global experience with a touch of true Indian luxury. “We are privileged to bring The Leela brand to the vibrant city of Gandhinagar and are committed to offering guests a truly memorable experience with the warmth of signature Leela hospitality. The team brings with them a diverse global experience and a positive attitude,” said Jaideep Anand, Vice President and General Manager, The Leela Gandhinagar and Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The senior leadership team:

Vikas Sood, Director of Operations: Started his journey in food and beverage nearly 25 years ago and has been associated with leading hospitality brands such as Hyatt and Taj. His forte lies in heading convention centre operations.

Ashis Rout, Executive Chef: Has over two decades of varied culinary expertise in the luxury hospitality industry. He has worked with brands like Hyatt, IHHR Hospitality, Marriott International, Intercontinental Hotel Group, and Accor.

Dhananjay Samarai, Director of Human Resources: Comes with over two and a half decades of extensive experience in the hospitality industry. He has worked with Taj, Le Meridien, Hyatt, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Marriott International.

Prabhakar Singh, Director of Sales and Marketing: Has a career spanning over two-and-a-half decades, associated with a wide array of economy, upscale, and luxury brands, including Taj, Accor, and a previous stint with The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

Suresh Ankam, Chief Engineer: Comes with a decade of experience and has been a pioneer in the launch of The Leela Gandhinagar. Suresh has excellent in-depth knowledge and pre-opening experience.

Leena Mandal, Executive Housekeeper: Has been associated with The Leela for over a decade in Bengaluru, Chennai, and now in Gandhinagar.

Supreet Bagga, Revenue Manager: Brings with him a total of six years of work experience and has handled diverse portfolios in brands such as Accor- Novotel and Grand Mercure.

Gaurav Besoya, Front Office Manager: Has nearly a decade of experience in the hospitality industry and has worked with hotel brands such as ITC, Le Meridien and Taj.

Anirban De Munshi, PR and Marcom Manager: Comes with nearly nine years of work experience and has led marketing initiatives for hospitality brands like Accor and Wyndham previously.

Vivekanand Singh, Operations Manager: Brings with him over 13 years of experience driving operations and guest service within the hospitality industry. He has worked with ITC and Le Meridien previously.

Sharanmeet Singh, IT Manager: At The Leela Gandhinagar and Information Security Officer at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

Pranjal Srivastava, Training Manager: Brings with him over nine years of experience in Training and Human Resources. He has also worked for Oberoi, Indigo Airlines and Marriott International.

Pritesh Gupta, Financial Controller: Has got over 16 years of work experience in handling financial efficiencies within the hospitality industry. He has previously worked with leading luxury hospitality brands like Le Meridien, Oberoi and Vana Retreats.
