Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, part of the InterContinental Hotel Group, announced the appointment of Suresh Thampy as Executive Chef for their property in Mumbai. Thampy brings with him over 19 years of hospitality experience and enjoys crafting new and innovative creations as much as he likes preparing them.
In his new role, Chef will assist in the functioning and processes of the hotel from setting the menu to ensuring the customers are served well, from mentoring the culinary team to sourcing the right candidates for Food and Beverage. Originally from Mumbai, Chef Thampy always plates up beautifully crafted wonders and ensures that guests have an authentic experience. His management style, attention to detail, and result oriented approach makes him the perfect choice for this role.

Chef Thampy has worked with some of the finest hotels in the country including Sheraton Grand, Bangalore Courtyard Marriott, Mumbai, Madinat Jumeirah Dubai, JW Marriott Hotel, Mumbai, ITC Hotel Grand Maratha Sheraton & Towers Mumbai and many other prestigious properties. Chef has secured several awards like ACE (Awards for Culinary Excellence) awards by Marriott International in 2011.
