Surrounded by rolling mountains on one side and dense green forests on the other and situated between the fascinating Temi Tea Estate and the iconic Buddha Park of Ravangla, Yangang in South Sikkim is an alluring tourist destination. It has a number of natural tourism resources including Maenam Hills (popularly known as Bhalay-Dhunga), Tig-Day Cho Lake, Neya Khola Falls, Mahadev Than, Yangang Monastery, Gurung Monastery, Lepcha Monastery and Ramitay Bhir.

The Sikkim Government is building a Ropeway to the famous Bhalay-Dhunga cliff, where a Sky Walk at a height of around 10,000 ft, the first of its kind in India is being constructed. Yangang is also the site for the sprawling Sikkim University being built by the State Government.

Located in the mystical land of Sikkim, Yangang is simply beautiful, serene and blissful. It can be visited any time of the year as the winters are not that biting and the summers are cool and pleasant. Tourists are increasingly opting for such quaint offbeat destinations instead of the crowded destinations.

Sinclairs Yangang is targeting to commence operations from April 2022, in order to take advantage of the high summer season.
