New offerings
Gangishetty says, “Our new offerings include Message Service Integrations with Line, WhatsApp, WeChat, Facebook Messenger and major messaging platforms within RMS and Internet of Things (IoT) for increased interface connectivity and expansion of integrated partners and direct OTA integrations. Then, there is security continued adoption of best practice cloud security measures and the payment plan technology that allows customers to pay a future reservation over an agreed period with automated scheduled credit card transactions.”
He also talks about facial recognition technology to provide hyper-personalised automated services. “RMS is embarking on a plan to provide carbon neutral technology by 2025. With the support of frictionless guest facing applications, going paperless is entirely possible with RMS Cloud. We want to take that many steps further and be a 100 per cent carbon neutral organisation by 2025,” he says.
The company will be integrating AI technologies (primary chatbots) into customer facing PMS technology like the RMS guest portal, internet booking engine and RMS’s two-way email and SMS modules. “Whether it is a request for ice or extra towels, reporting maintenance and late checkouts or making a booking in the restaurant, we will use data insights and intelligence to provide personalised automated service,” informs Gangishetty.
