RK Sarovar Portico Srinagar Launches Premium Rooms
HOTEL RK SAROVAR PORTICO, Srinagar has launched their Premium Room category. A total of 18 Premium category rooms have been introduced in the property starting at Rs 10,500.
“We have tried to design these rooms where in the guest can have the best scenic view from their room. Being a Mid Segment Hotel we have kept the tariff of these rooms quite affordable so that families can enjoy their stay to the utmost level” says Saddam Zaroo, Managing Director, Hotel RK Sarovar Portico, Srinagar.
The new set of premium category rooms includes personalised check-in and checkout, on availability and modern design with wooden texture flooring, larger mirrors, bed, large wardrobe and work desk, with high-speed Internet access & minibar.
“Hospitality sector is very dynamic and we upgrade ourselves on regular time intervals as the need arises. Be it our rooms or other facilities, we have just launched our Spa and Turkish hamam which is one of its kind in the entire valley. We always have added up to our services and delivered more than expected.” added Zaroo.
On the matter of GST, Zaroo said,” A GST of 18 per cent has been levied on room rent. This is much higher than the previous tax regime in most states, on most hotel star categories. In fact in my state of Jammu & Kashmir it will be interesting to know how the state shall manage its zero per cent tax relaxation policy on room rent. Also, we fall under the category of charging 28 percent GST if it's applied in our state".
