Relish the New Menu at ChaoBella

SERVING THE authentic Chinese and Italian under one roof, ChaoBella at Crowne Plaza Today Okhla has gone through a new menu makeover. The menu shows its versatility in ranging from sweet Cantonese food to spicy Sichuan cuisines. If we talk about the highlights of the menu, it is the homemade essence added to each dish. Whether be it handmade tofu to the very authentic homemade pesto sauce, the chefs at the kitchen ensures to take their guests to the streets of China and Italy.

CHAO (literal meaning Hello in Mandarin) celebrates the ingredients from the land of mighty Yellow and Yangtze rivers. Starting with the Clear Beijing Chicken Dumpling Soup, each dish can be cherished as none will make a heavy toll on your stomach.  Spinach Tofu in Garlic Sauce, Chinese Greens, Stir Fried French Beans, Shredded Chicken, Slow Cooked Lamb Shank, Braised lamb shank flavoured with Asian spices Stir Fried Tenderloin are few to name. Dimsum lovers have an array to choose but steamed crystal wheat starch prawn dumplings can be termed as a must try.

Sauces and seasonings like fish sauce, five spice powders, oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar etc. have been used generously to offer complex layers of flavour and texture. The key ingredients are sourced from China.

From pesto and basil leaves in the north to the sweet cannelloni found down south in Sicily, BELLA (literal meaning gracious) offers the true delicate taste of Italy. Gnocchi di Pomodoro al Forno, Potato and parmesan dumplings in pesto infused Pomodoro sauce can surely be a show stopper of all. Seabass Marino, Poached Chilean sea bass with prawn and new potato broth has that right amalgamation of Italian flavours infused together. To give the ending note, Chef’s special Tiramisu will suffice the sweet tooth.

Throwing some light upon the interiors, there is an elaborate winery, bar seating area and live kitchen a multi-level space in a chic nouveau setting. Giving a niche oriental setting, rustic, wooden floors and design details like Chinese and Italian memorabilia create a beautiful ambience for a perfect meal. Glass frontage that overlooks a sprawling alfresco area with two huge burning pots, is a mindboggling scene to watch.
