Rajasthan's famous 'Ghoomar' opens its doors at Omaxe Chowk in Old Delhi

Chandni Chowk, the historic centre of Old Delhi, has welcomed a new culinary adventure – Ghoomar, a traditional Rajasthani Thali restaurant. Ideal for large gatherings, Ghoomar offers an authentic taste of Rajasthan right in the heart of Old Delhi. This traditional Rajasthani restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of Dawatpur, Omaxe Chowk, which promises an expansive dining experience with its 6,000 sq ft space, accommodating over 150 guests.

The grand opening of Ghoomar was marked by a ribbon-cutting and lamp-lighting ceremony, led by Jatin Goel, Executive Director of Omaxe Group. Guests were greeted with traditional 'pagdis,' instantly transporting them to the colourful state of Rajasthan. The launch event was an immersive experience, enriched by the melodies of Rajasthani folk music and the elegance of traditional dance performances.

The start of the event was, Ghoomar's signature pure vegetarian Rajasthani Thali, a culinary masterpiece featuring over 24 authentic items that celebrate the rich heritage of Rajasthani cuisine.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Goel stated, "We are thrilled to bring the authentic flavours and vibrant culture of Rajasthan to Chandni Chowk with the inauguration of Ghoomar Thali Restaurant at Omaxe Chowk."

"Our aim is to preserve and promote these timeless traditions, creating a space where people can enjoy delicious, authentic Rajasthani cuisine while immersing themselves in the cultural essence that makes Rajasthan so special", Goel added.

Ghoomar's entry into Chandni Chowk not only adds to the vibrant culinary landscape of the area but also provides a unique dining experience that captures the essence of Rajasthan.
