NITIN MARRIYA has been appointed as the Complex Director of Sales and Marketing at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center and Aloft Cessna Park. In addition to providing advisory and executive support to the Complex General Manager to achieve goals and maximize various revenue and marketing opportunities of the hotel, he also liaises and ensures that Marriott International’s globally acclaimed Hotel standards are met with and exceeded.
15 years of experience in the hospitality industry has seen Nitin evolve into a collaborative leader with a strategic and analytical perspective. Prior to joining Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center, Nitin worked at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace and Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel as the Complex Director of Sales and Marketing. He joined Marriott International in 2010 as Assistant Director of Sales at Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway. Nitin started his career with The Leela Kempinski Mumbai followed by Leela Palace Bangalore, and along the way his extensive operations and pre-opening experience with Ista Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Taj West End, Sheraton Grand Bangalore, have added value to his operational, budgeting, managing, and liaising skills.
With a sincere and hardworking attitude, Nitin excels in maintaining consistent quality performance and introducing innovative strategies to maximize revenues for both hotels. His collaborative and flexible approach coupled with strong communication skills has helped him seamlessly step into his new roles and responsibilities. As Complex Director, he continues to deliver his targets by the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
