THE LEELA Ambience Gurugram Hotels & Residences has announced the appointment of Ashish Bhasin as the new Executive Chef and Hitesh Sangwan as the F&B Director. Ashish Bhasin comes with 19 years of comprehensive experience in kitchens of restaurants. Chef Ashish has worked in The Oberoi Hotel-New Delhi, The Oberoi Rajvilas-Jaipur, Trident-Udaipur, Trident-Bandra Kurla Mumbai and also at the picturesque, award-winning and luxurious hotel, The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh, Red Sea Egypt.
Chef Ashish holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, PUSA, New Delhi and has been trained under The Hotel Operations Programme from the Taj Group.
Hitesh joins the hotel with over six years of managerial experience, which he will use to primarily focus on the quality of service in our Food & Beverage department and find new ways of making our restaurants popular.
An alumnus of IHM, Kolkata, Hitesh topped the 2006 batch in the F&B Service. After completing his rigorous 22 weeks of industrial training at The Park, Kolkata; he acquired the Certificate of Excellence in banquet operations and started his career as a Management Trainee with Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces.
