Minor Hotels welcomes Torsten Richter as Area General Manager for Malaysia and Indonesia
Seasoned hospitality veteran returns to Minor Hotels to manage four of its properties in Southeast Asia countries

Torsten Richter, a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, has been appointed to lead properties in Malaysia and Indonesia for Minor Hotels. Richter has extensive experience managing both resorts and city hotels across various global destinations, including Thailand, Indonesia, the Maldives, Germany, the United States, and the UK.
Previously, he served as the General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Hotel Am Steinplatz Autograph Collection in Berlin, where he maintained high standards of luxury and service. His prior roles include Cluster General Manager for Minor Hotels’ resorts in the Maldives.
