Lithiyum Promises to Take F&B Forward

LITHIYUM AT Hotel Ashoka was launched on recently, welcoming Delhiites to experience the club, lounge and fine dine property. The launch party was attended by the eminent food and hospitality influencers. It’s a brain child of Saurabh Katyal, Director of Lithiyum who also owns Imagine Ice (Ice sculpture Company) and was previously associated with Jynxx at Eros Hotel.

The property is divided into three sections Club room, Drawing room (fine dine) and Arena (lounge area). The club offers multi cuisine food delicacies which have been curated by celebrity chef Akshay Nayyar. “At Lithiyum, we promise to take the F&B industry a step forward with all the world class music system, lights, ambience, and fusion food,” says Katyal at the launch.

Lithiyum has used all the international brands for its interiors. “Our sound system is from Outline, Italy and the Lightening part is done by Madrix which is a UK based company. Our kitchen will be handled by the professionals. Lithiyum is not only about drink and dance but giving finger licking food experience as well,” said Katyal.

Elaborating about the expansion plan, Katyal said, “Right now we are stationed in India and next we are planning to launch in London. We hold the concept of going global.”

Launching a club in the heart of the city soon after the GST regime gave some Challenges to katyal. “Transaction from Vat to GST created some difficulties. Clearances took longer time and the product delivery was late,” he added.

On choosing Hotel Ashoka as the prime location, Katyal explained, “This hotel is a 25 acre heritage property. We wanted an amalgamation of something which is very old and very new.”
