Crowne Plaza Today Gurugram is set to host Jhelum, a culinary celebration of Kashmiri Pandit cuisine, from November 14 to 23. Curated by Chef Rahul Wali, an expert in Kashmiri flavours, along with Executive Chef Sandeep Saini, the festival will introduce guests to the unique and cherished dishes of the Kashmiri Pandit community.
Named after the famous Jhelum River flowing through Kashmir, the festival promises an authentic taste of Kashmiri heritage. Diners can savour a specially crafted Chef’s set menu at Kaansa or enjoy a sumptuous buffet at Café G. Highlighted dishes include traditional favourites like Rogan Josh, Nadir Kebab, Warimuth Kebab, and Kabargah Mutton, each embodying the signature blend of spices and bold flavours characteristic of this cuisine.
"Jhelum is our tribute to the timeless flavours of Kashmiri Pandit cuisine," says Gaurav Apte, Area General Manager, Crowne Plaza Today Gurugram. "We are delighted to share this culinary heritage with our guests, bringing authentic Kashmiri dishes crafted with passion and authenticity."
The Jhelum festival aims to immerse guests in the soul of Kashmiri cooking, a cuisine known for its depth and delicate balance of flavors. Ideal for culinary enthusiasts and newcomers alike, this event offers a rare opportunity to experience a vibrant, authentic taste of Kashmir right in the heart of Gurugram.
