Indian School of Hospitality (ISH), one of India’s preeminent institutions in Hospitality and Culinary Arts education, has appointed Kunal Vasudeva to the position of Co-Founder and Managing Director, effective August 01, 2023.
Previously serving as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Vasudeva's elevation as MD is in alignment with ISH now being a part of Sommet Education, a global leader in higher education in the area of hospitality management and business and culinary arts, based in Switzerland. Sommet Education owns globally renowned brands Les Roches, Glion and Ecole Ducasse. He will be responsible for leading the growth of ISH's academic offerings, maintaining the highest academic standards aligned to global benchmarks and leveraging the policy framework of the new National Education Policy to foster international quality, multi-disciplinary education in India.
Dilip Puri, currently the Founder and CEO of ISH, will now take on the role of Founder and Executive Chairman of ISH. 'Kunal has been a part of ISH since its inception and has demonstrated his knowledge, passion and dedication in bringing ISH up to the level it is at in a short span of six years. I look forward to his leadership as we steer the institution towards a future full of opportunities with the rapidly changing landscape of Higher Education in India,” said Dilip Puri, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Indian School of Hospitality.
