Hyatt Regency Ludhiana has appointed Syed Zulfiqar Ali as its new General Manager, effective May 16, 2024. Bringing over 22 years of invaluable experience in the hospitality industry, Zulfiqar Ali joins Hyatt Regency Ludhiana with a distinguished career marked by excellence and innovation. With a focus on leadership, profitability, and enhancing guest experiences, Zulfiqar Ali's appointment signals a new chapter of success for the hotel.

Zulfiqar Ali's impressive career journey includes leadership roles at properties such as Courtyard by Marriott SBR Ahmedabad, Four Points by Sheraton Srinagar, Fairfield by Marriott Indore, and Westin Pune, where he garnered recognition for his dedication to excellence and guest satisfaction. Notably, he was awarded Best Housekeeping Leader of the Year in 2014 and Best Director of Rooms in 2016 & 2017 by BW Hotelier, showcasing his commitment to delivering exceptional service standards.

Through careful strategy and collaborations, under his leadership, Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad SBR secured reputable ranks in South Asia, driving profitability for stakeholders and the brand. The overall growth in various key performance indicators such as net operating profit, gross operating profit, total revenue, average daily rate, market share, revenue per available room, guest satisfaction, and guest voice growth was significant. This growth reflects Zulfiqar Ali's effectiveness in enhancing guest experiences and optimising operational efficiency. Additionally, Zulfiqar Ali achieved the highest guest voice growth Year over Year for 2023 in South Asia Marriott International.
