Sharad Puri takes over as Senior Vice President & General Manager of The Leela Palace Jaipur

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has strengthened its progression in the country and heralded an era of excellence and appointed Sharad Puri as Senior Vice President & General Manager of The Leela Palace Jaipur. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President - Sales & Distribution, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

With over three decades of experience, Puri is an industry veteran and an inspirational leader who has worked in highly competitive environments across multiple cities in India. He is seasoned in building strong organisational structures to increasing efficiency that is critical to business and has paved the way as an inspirational leader, identifying the latest trends and enhancing global consumer experiences for over three decades. 

An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Ahmedabad, Puri is a graduate from the OCLD Management Training Programme. He comes with work experience spanning two major hospitality groups Marriott and Oberoi Hotels with assignments at The Oberoi Mumbai, The Oberoi Grand Kolkata, Trident Hyderabad, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, Sheraton Grand Marriott Bengaluru Whitefield and Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Park.
