Hyatt Regency Chennai has appointed Samuel David. A as Director of Engineering. With 28 years of experience in the hotel industry, he will be in charge of the hotel's overall upkeep and maintenance.

David is an energetic and talented team member who is passionate about providing guests with seamless service and ensuring a memorable stay. Prior to joining Hyatt Regency Chennai, he worked with prestigious hospitality brands such as Accor, Taj, Ananda in the Himalayas, and ITC, to name a few, and has extensive experience in pre-opening and managing cluster properties. His responsibilities include creating and planning PPM schedules, major equipment maintenance and audit, risk assessment/compliance and regulations, asset and disposal management, and planning and forecasting capital and operational budgets.
