Cosmo, the all-day dining restaurant at Hyatt Centric Hebbal Bengaluru, is set to host an exclusive bar takeover by Shad Skye, one of Asia’s top 30 bars, on October 25 and 26. The event features Rishot Laloo, Head Mixologist at Shad Skye, who will bring the unique flavours of Northeast India to Bengaluru through his signature cocktails. Known for his creative use of indigenous ingredients, Rishot’s curated menu promises a sensory journey into the rich heritage of the region.
The cocktail lineup celebrates the diverse flavours of Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, and Sikkim. Each drink is designed to highlight the natural essence of locally sourced fruits and spices, creating a harmonious blend of regional tastes. Shad Skye, named after the Khasi words “Shad” (dance) and “Skye” (skies), embodies the spirit of Northeast India, offering a tribute to its cultural richness and commitment to sustainability.
Cosmo’s setting, known for its global cuisine, provides the ideal venue for this cultural and mixological event. Guests can enjoy drinks like the "Terpenes," a botanical tequila blend with beetroot, and "Delicious Black," a whiskey-based creation with jaggery and black rice. Other highlights include the "Cherry Blossom," a floral gin cocktail, and the fiery "Ghost Pepper Picante," featuring tequila and ghost pepper.
