Goa introduces 'LetsGoa', a digital revolution in tourism

The launch included additional initiatives, such as 75 public WiFi hotspots, 11 BSNL 4G towers, and the One Map Goa GIS portal

Goa has taken a stride into the future of tourism with the launch of 'LetsGoa', an innovative digital platform aimed at enhancing travel experiences for both tourists and locals. The platform was unveiled at a ceremony in Mantralaya, Porvorim, by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and Tourism Minister Rohan A Khaunte, alongside key officials, including Chief Secretary Dr V Candavelou, IAS, and Director of Tourism Suneel Anchipaka, IAS.

LetsGoa, the Tourism Experience Platform (TEP), is a comprehensive tool connecting tourists, locals, and service providers such as hoteliers and activity operators. Offering seamless bookings for accommodations, cultural experiences, and adventure activities, it also introduces a Digital Tourism Card, granting discounts, rewards, and redeemable travel points.

Minister for Tourism, Rohan A Khaunte said, “The LetsGoa tourism experience platform serves as a comprehensive guide to Goa’s services, integrating tourism, technology, and local businesses. With LetsGoa, we aim to empower tourists with a reliable, single-point resource for all their travel needs in Goa. This initiative will benefit local businesses by connecting them with a wider audience.” 

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant hailed LetsGoa as a pivotal move towards showcasing Goa’s heritage and natural beauty through tech-driven convenience. Director of Tourism Suneel Anchipaka highlighted its transformative potential, with over 100 hotels and 50 activity providers already onboard.

The launch included additional initiatives, such as 75 public WiFi hotspots, 11 BSNL 4G towers, and the One Map Goa GIS portal, bolstering connectivity and planning. LetsGoa promises to preserve Goa’s charm while propelling its tourism into a digitally connected future.
