Faiz Alam Ansari Appointed as Complex General Manager of Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center and Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park

FAIZ ALAM Ansari has been appointed as the Complex General Manager at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center and Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park. Faiz was the pre-opening General Manager of both Sheraton Grand Bengaluru and Aloft Bengaluru. He has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and has significant experience with luxury properties in both India and International markets. His proficiency lies in bringing an innovative approach to his management skills and in maintaining a high level of excellence in all tasks.

Faiz has been associated with Marriott International since 2006. Prior to taking on this new role, Faiz was General Manager at Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park for approximately three years. He has also been extensively associated with The Westin Gurgaon and The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa. His international experience has also seen him working with Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, Raffles Hotel Singapore and Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore as well.

Faiz has also bagged the prestigious awards for BW Hotelier General Manager of the Year 2018 and General Manager of the Year 2016 – Asia Pacific (Marriott International) and eight more similar award General Manager of the year award from various organisers including General Manager of the Year 2015 – Starwood (South Asia). He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and hospitality trainer. Aside from his devotion to the hospitality industry, he is passionate about reading, swimming, traveling and loves sports such as golf, table tennis and cricket.
