Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, a new tropical haven located near the traditional hillside village of Banjar Puhu in northern Ubud, is set to open its doors on October 1, 2024. This marks the second Anantara property on the Indonesian island.
The resort is set to feature 85 modern suites and pool villas, along with 15 residences nestled in a lush, forested hillside. Guests can enjoy contemporary 53 sq m suites surrounded by jungle sounds and one- and two-bedroom villas with infinity pools perched among the treetops.
Dining options include Amerta, offering wood-fired local dishes, and Kirana for traditional fare and breakfast. Sulang gives misty valley views and smart cocktails, while The Lobby Lounge offers afternoon tea and coffee with a view of Mount Agung. The signature designer Dining experience provides dining settings, from waterfall picnics to private pavilion dinners.
Resort amenities include two heated swimming pools, a yoga deck, a gym, and an Anantara Spa. Activities range from arts and crafts workshops to yoga and meditation, all set against the backdrop of Ubud’s natural beauty. The resort is a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive from Denpasar International Airport.
