Conrad Pune appoints Chef Taj Qureshi as new Sous Chef at Zeera

Conrad Pune has appointed Taj Qureshi as the new Sous Chef at the hotel's signature restaurant Zeera. In his new position, Chef Taj will be responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations at Zeera as well as creating new dishes and menus.

Chef Qureshi brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of Indian cuisine. Born and raised in Aminabad, Lucknow, he always aspired to become a Master Chef. He started his career working for a couple of well-known restaurants in Aminabad, where he learnt the secrets of the age-old cuisine and later moved to Mumbai to fulfil his dream.

With Lucknow’s rich Nawab Cuisine at the heart of his creations, Qureshi is keen to introduce flavourful dishes like Aminabadi Gosht Ki Gilwat, Nakhas ki Gosht Seekh, Purani Chowk Ki Nihari, Gosht Kho-E-Awadh, Murgh Wajid Ali, Doodhiya Kareli Gosht Dum Biryani and Shahi Khubani Tart in the new menu at Zeera. His passion for Indian cuisine and commitment to creating innovative dishes makes him the perfect addition to the Conrad family. This appointment further strengthens Conrad Pune’s commitment to extending a world-class dining experience to their patrons and consequently enriching guest experiences.
