Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield has appointed Chef Mohan Sawant as the new Executive Sous Chef. With over 15 years of culinary experience, Chef Mohan has worked with various prestigious hospitality brands, including Taj The Trees and Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa. He began his career at The Park Hotel in Mumbai and progressed to roles such as Demi Chef de Partie at Grand Hyatt.
Chef Mohan specialises in Western, Italian, and fusion cuisines, known for his ability to blend culinary traditions while maintaining authenticity. He has a strong background in leadership, menu creation, and staff training, earning accolades such as the 'Times Food Award' for Best Italian Restaurant.
