Azure Hospitality is set to introduce its innovative brands, Mamagoto and Sly Granny, in Goa. The Food Directors at Azure Hospitality, Chef Janti Duggal and Chef Ravi Saxena, have curated the menus with utmost care towards local ingredients and culinary traditions.
Mamagoto, a pan Asian café that pioneered casual dining within that genre in India, is all prepped to open in a heritage home in Panjim. This remarkable 60-seater property of Mamagoto has been designed as an old home with vintage, classic features and the brand’s iconic manga-inspired design. With an intricate and extensive Sushi and Dimsum menu, along with the signature bowls, and other wok-tossed curries and stir-fries, the restaurant has got all bases covered. It will also be serving mixology inspired cocktails and a wine list.
Nestled along a sleepy ocean road, and the old church of Ries Margos, Sly Granny’s new venue in the village of Nerul, will include an all-day grazing menu, serving European Tapas and a myriad of prohibition-era cocktails with stunning ocean views. Guests can anchor themselves in one of the Cabanas, or lounge on the beach deck which has been created as a perfect all-day place for those who need to unwind outdoors by the beach and lose track of time.
Brand chefs, Siddhart for Mamagoto and Utkarsh Bhalla for Sly Granny, will be executing the everyday operations and will be overlooking the up and running of the restaurants. “Our vision has always been to take our brands into local communities and neighbourhoods, give them quality, a fun, and young experience and put smiles on our customers. Goa has been particularly dear to us given its unique history, epic beauty, people, and traditions, and we are humble, excited to be able to serve it with our trademark Azure style of hospitality,” said Kabir Suri and Rahul Khanna, co-founders, Azure Hospitality.
