Tropical rooftop haven opens in North Bangalore at Nido

The venue serves up to 150 guests across three thoughtfully designed sections, blending communal tables, intimate lounges, and romantic alcoves

Promising a unique blend of elegance, comfort and tropical charm, a new rooftop destination, Nido, has opened in North Bangalore. Derived from the Italian word for “nest,” Nido offers an escape from the city’s fast pace, spanning 3,500 square feet with panoramic skyline views under a semi-retractable roof that adapts to Bangalore’s dynamic weather.

Designed by Studio 8 Architects in collaboration with Bonda Soup Art Studio, Nido embodies a “nest” theme, featuring natural materials like lantana twigs ethically sourced from Karnataka and terrazzo flooring. Its retractable roof adds a touch of versatility, offering an open-air experience or a cosy indoor retreat.

Sathvik Shetty, the driving force behind Nido, shares, “With Nido, our goal was to craft a space where guests feel not only connected but truly at ease. We felt that Hebbal was missing a rooftop sanctuary that brought together craft cocktails, exceptional food, and artistic expression. Our vision was to create a space that is not just a bar but a cultural hub where guests can relax, feel a sense of belonging, and immerse themselves in a vibrant, curated experience.”

The venue accommodates up to 150 guests across three thoughtfully designed sections, blending communal tables, intimate lounges, and romantic alcoves. The culinary offerings are equally impressive, featuring South Indian and Continental flavours with inventive fusion twists. The bar enhances the experience with floral-infused cocktails, refreshing mocktails, and draught beers. With live music, weekend DJ nights, and a welcoming ambience, Nido is more than just a rooftop bar.
