Air India appoints Airline Rep Services as GSA for New Zealand and Fiji

Air India has appointed Airline Rep Services, a division of CVFR Travel Group, as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for passenger operations in New Zealand and Fiji. The agency will manage reservations, ticketing, marketing support, and passenger sales services, enhancing service delivery to travel agents and customers in these regions.

This partnership aims to boost passenger traffic to Air India’s flights connecting Australia, Singapore, and other destinations. Ram Chhabra, CEO of CVFR Travel Group, said, "We are truly honoured to represent Air India, bringing the airline’s extensive route network and fast-transforming passenger experience closer to travellers in the regions. As someone with Indian heritage, this appointment holds a special significance for me, and I am proud that Airline Rep Services will contribute to strengthening ties between these markets and India."

Air India currently operates 17 weekly flights from Australia and 60 from Singapore to India, with connections to the UK, Europe, and North America through its hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The airline is transforming following its privatisation and has begun receiving new aircraft from its record orders for 470 planes from Airbus and Boeing.
