Leading this newly opened property is General Manager Chidchanok Pasinpong, an accomplished hospitality professional with over 15 years of experience in luxury and upscale hotel management. Pasinpong has successfully led the hotel’s rebranding from Grand Fortune Bangkok, while spearheading marketing strategies and overseeing major renovations to enhance guest experience. Before this assignment, she managed Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok, where she exceeded budgeted financial goals and received the prestigious Minor Award of Excellence in 2023. A graduate of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and a participant in Accor’s Shadow Comex programme, Chidchanok continues to bring innovation, operational excellence and strategic growth to the hospitality sector.

Pasinpong shares that the primary objective, at present, is to establish a robust international guest base by capitalising on the expanding Avani brand across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. “In addition, we are focussed on optimising our meeting and event capabilities. We plan to expand our facilities next year as part of the strategy to position ourselves as a leading venue for corporate events in the Ratchada and Rama 9 area,” she informs.
On the plans to leverage the presence of multiple Avani hotels in Bangkok, the GM says, “The presence of other Avani hotels in Bangkok allows us to benefit from the brand recognition, especially within the domestic market. This makes it easier for us entering the market, as people already know and trust the brand. We can further benefit from cross promoting our properties and driving efficiencies through shared resources.”

To promote Avani Ratchda, the marketing strategies include expanding digital visibility through targetted social media campaigns and collaborations with influencers, both domestically and internationally. “SEO optimisation will be a key focus to ensure better online visibility and higher search rankings, driving more direct bookings. We will also refocus on promoting our meeting spaces and wedding venues, positioning the hotel as a destination for corporate events and special occasions,” she says, adding the hotel has already been awarded MEA Energy Award 2024 at the platinum level. “This recognition highlights our efforts to reduce energy consumption and promote environmentally responsible practices throughout the hotel,” says Pasinpong.
