The focus will be on wellness, but online therapeutic sessions will be the breakthrough: Rai

The government has ordered the hotels to resume operations, but the spas continue to remain closed, what are your thoughts about this?

We support the government guidelines and are hopeful that spas will resume operations in Delhi as well post other cities in India

How do you view the future of spas and wellness centers once mandated to resume operations?

The focus will definitely be on complete wellness now entailing a healthy diet, meditation, yoga and exercise. However online therapeutic sessions will be the breakthrough where more and more guests will enroll in.

In what way is the emphasis on spas increasing or decreasing in the post Covid19 business operations?

This will take time; eventually the vaccine will be out, which will change the psychology of guests to resume their spa activities once more. However at the same time, paid online sessions will also grow exponentially, having a larger reach and audience this will also help generate revenue.

How will you ensure social distancing whilst giving therapeutic treatment to the guests?

Following protocols of “Care by Roseate” program, we will firstly be taking prior reservations only so as to maintain social distancing norms. Also the massages will be dry, sans oil as recommended by the government.

Is the variety of treatment guests are opting for likely to get expanded or get concentrated?

It will get expanded as a part from wellness therapies focus; there will be a boost in online wellness sessions virtually.

How has the working of the spa and wellness center been remodeled to ensure safety and enhanced hygiene?

We await further guidelines from the government on spa opening. We are ready, following all the protocols of stringent hygiene and safety practices of ‘Care by Roseate’, where all spa areas and treatment rooms are being sanitized thoroughly, associates are wearing masks at all times and the guests will only be accepted upon prior reservation.  Arogya green safe status is mandatory, and there are temperature checks for everyone – employees and guests.  Any guest with visible symptoms is politely declined as safety is our priority.

What are some of the new innovations incorporated?

We are working on a digital detox therapy program with wellness experts as well as virtual wellness sessions to keep our guests engaged and rejuvenated.
