The Bombaykery X Kaffa Cerrado Opens its Door at Select Citywalk, Saket
BOMBAYKERY HAS opened its third door at Select Citywalk, Saket teaming up with Kaffa Cerrado to form THE BOMBAYKERY X KAFFA CERRADO. Making it a perfect union of urban India’s favourite coffee roasters and Delhi’s finest bakery and patisserie, the cafe promises to bring pure caffeine indulgence along with the choicest selection of delicious baked treats.
With a cosy interior of wood and brass, the café is a suitable place for a coffee date or a break from shopping. At THE BOMBAYKERY X KAFFA CERRADO, one can enjoy specially created offerings like Turmeric Latte, Bulletproof Coffee, coffee-based healthy smoothies, gluten and sugar-free savouries and desserts.
The team at The Bombaykery - the same trio that runs a cloud-bakery, operates outposts in DLF CyberHub and Deer Park-Safdarjung, hosts pop-ups at weddings and runs institutional caterings - places a premium on high-quality ingredients. At this new café, they have introduced a limited seasonal menu of light bites including tartines and salads.
Speaking of the association, Co-founder & Chef Mitali Sahani says, “We wanted to focus on our respective core competencies of desserts, savouries and partner with a premium coffee maker to elevate the café experience. Our effort with this collaboration is a celebration of the joy of flavours, and we want everyone to join us.”
Mitali’s dedication and her love for cooking can be reflected on her cupcakes and her brownies. She knows how to perfectly blend her learnings from Paris and her own personal experiences from the kitchen. It is Mitali’s continuous quest for experiment and innovation which has come out in the form of Bombaykery. At this new café, several Pesto and Hummus are available for sale which reminds of homeliness. For the gym hitters and health freaks, an array of salads and sandwiches are available to gobble.
“We aim to raise the bar on your café experience by offering a choice of exotic coffees roasted and brewed by us along with an equally wide range of gourmet food and desserts,“ says Krittivas Dalmia, a certified roaster who founded Kaffa Cerrado 4 years ago.
