THE TAJ Mahal Hotel, New Delhi announced its continued association with the Indian Polo Association. The hotel celebrated the final game of the IPA National Polo Championship at the Jaipur Polo Ground, the city’s famed venue for the game, recently. The game began with an uplifting rendition of the National Anthem by Priyasha Shekhar, a talented 9 year old, whose enthralling performance elevated the spirits at the Jaipur Polo Grounds.
The final match between Jindal Panthers and Rajnigandha Achievers, was attended by the city’s crème de la crème including Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Hon’ble Minister for Commerce, Industries and Employment and Chairman, Madhya Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation, celebrated artist Jatin Das, former Indian cricketer Atul Wassan, and former polo player Samir Suhag.
The exciting game ended with the Jindal Panthers scoring the golden goal to win the Indian Open Championship.
