Stone Wood Hotels & Resorts, a boutique hospitality company based in Goa, has revealed plans to expand its portfolio to 50 properties across India over the next five years. Currently operating 16 hotels and resorts, the group aims to add five to six properties annually through management contracts, lease agreements, and owned properties.
The expansion will target serene destinations like Kabini, Coorg, Jawai, and Ranthambore for owned properties, while also establishing a presence in major cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to meet urban demand. To cater to diverse traveller preferences, the company has introduced three sub-brands: Stone Wood Hotels, Stone Wood Premier, and Stone Wood Comfort, each designed to serve different customer segments from premium to budget-conscious travellers.
"Our vision is to redefine boutique hospitality by offering guests unique experiences that combine premium services with exceptional value," said Shikhar Kumar, Managing Director of Stone Wood Hotels & Resorts. "The introduction of our new brand categories and aggressive expansion plans are rooted in our commitment to bridging the gap between affordability and luxury. With a presence across prime urban and offbeat locations, we aim to create experiences that resonate with today’s discerning travellers,” he added.
The in-house construction team will facilitate the rapid development of new properties, ensuring quality control. Stone Wood’s reputation for maintaining high service standards has helped it build trust with property owners in a competitive market.
Overall, Stone Wood Hotels & Resorts is set to enhance its presence in the Indian hospitality sector through strategic expansion and a focus on meaningful guest experiences.
