Sofitel Mumbai BKC appoints Bjorn Fernandes as Director of Sales & Marketing

Sofitel Mumbai BKC has announced the appointment of Bjorn Fernandes as its new Director of Sales & Marketing. With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for elevating guest experiences.

Prior to joining Sofitel, Fernandes served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Taj North Goa, overseeing Taj Fort Aguada and Taj Holiday Village. He has also held leadership roles at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake and Marriott Executive Apartments, where he managed the largest inventory within Marriott South Asia, driving substantial growth across B2B, MICE, and long-stay segments. Fernandes holds an MBA in Marketing from MET Bandra and a Bachelor’s in Management Studies from MMK College.
