The film series Shaq's Abu Dhabi Street Food Journey features the Basketball legend indulging in Abu Dhabi’s diverse street food offerings

Shaquille O’Neal has swapped the court for cuisine in the Shaq's Abu Dhabi Street Food Journey series of films that sees him discovering Abu Dhabi’s diverse street food scene while leaving food reviews as he explores the flavours and characters behind Emirati and Middle Eastern Street food.

From traditional Emirati dishes to Middle Eastern favourites, he can be seen savouring every bite and sharing his discoveries through Google reviews. Each episode features him being immersed in the city as he explores eight different foodie hotspots.

Neal first visits Al Dhafra restaurant, an authentic Emirati cuisine spot, with a group of locals, where he is introduced to lamb ghouzi. In upcoming episodes, he likens the tasty luqaimat at Luqaimat and Chebab and gives his taste buds a more familiar treat at Mo’s Joint with their takeaway Classic Burger. He further heads to Beit El Khetyar and creates a giant shawarma, a limited edition Shaqwarma. Neal also shares humorous and insightful commentary about his culinary adventures in Al Sultan Sweets, India Palace Restaurant, Bu Tafish and Seashell.
