LORDS HOTELS & Resorts has recently appointed Sanjay Mamgain as its Corporate Executive Sous Chef. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry he has served across the Indian geography with many of the leading hotel kitchens. A graduate in English and Economics, he holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management Catering, Technology & Applied Nutrition, IHM. Prior to his latest appointment at Lords Hotels & Resorts, Mamgain served as Corporate Executive Chef cum Preopening Core Chef at VITS.
“As Corporate Executive Sous Chef, Chef Mamgain will be a value-add to our hotel chain. He will help us in achieving continuity in guest experience and consistency in food and beverages across all our hotels. Besides, with his experience in curating various specialty menus we hope to improve offerings at our five branded F&B outlets including a fine-dine multi-cuisine restaurant, grill restaurant, bar lounge, coffee shop, and the cake shop,” says Rishi Puri, Vice President, Lords Hotels & Resorts.
Chef Mamgain has also served as Executive Chef with Orchid Hotel & Convention Center and The Pride Hotel. Excellent in managing culinary operations including menu-planning, food production, aesthetic presentation of recipes and elaborate meals, Chef Mamgain is a keen strategist with expertise in setting up and managing entire F&B operations.
