Postcard Travel Club has formed a partnership with Saruni Basecamp, which specialises in ethical safari tourism in Kenya, to enhance conscious luxury travel experiences. This collaboration aims to connect travellers with the country’s wildlife and local communities while emphasising conservation efforts.
Saruni Basecamp, following a recent merger with Basecamp Explorer Kenya, is dedicated to reshaping the safari industry with a focus on sustainability and empowerment of local populations. Members of Postcard Travel Club will gain access to the 12 lodges situated in key private conservancies, including renowned areas like the Masai Mara and Samburu.
Amit Jaipuria, Founder and CEO of Postcard Travel Club, emphasised the importance of this collaboration, “We are delighted with our partnership with Saruni Basecamp. Such meaningful partnerships across countries are enabling Postcard to establish a global footprint as ambassadors of conscious luxury travel. Partnering with Saruni Basecamp is a natural extension of our mission to offer conscious luxury travellers authentic, transformative experiences. Saruni Basecamp’s dedication to community-driven conservation aligns with our vision of responsible tourism. This association will enable our members to embark on journeys that not only immerse them in the wonders of the African wilderness but also allow them to support long-term conservation efforts and nurture profound connections with the local communities.”
Jeremiah Mutisya, CEO of Saruni Basecamp, stressed the shared values of both organizations, “Our collaboration with Postcard Travel Club is a powerful step towards elevating the impact of sustainable tourism. Together, we can offer travellers from India an unparalleled experience that blends luxury with responsibility. Our lodges are more than destinations; they are gateways to understanding the complex relationships between people, wildlife, and the land. This involvement will deepen the impact we’ve worked tirelessly to build, ensuring that every visit contributes to both conservation and the well-being of local communities.”
