Nijhawan Group has successfully organised three exclusive familiarisation (FAM) trips for select B2B trade partners covering FIT and MICE travel in the month of September 2024.
Aiming to showcase the offerings of Onyx Hospitality Group and Aitken Spence Travels Limited, the trips were designed to educate trade partners on the diverse offerings and provide travel agents with firsthand knowledge of products and services offered.
A total of two back-to-back familiarisations were organised for Onyx Hospitality Group and TopGolf, in collaboration with partners like Tourism Authority of Thailand, Air India and Indigo. One of the highlights was an all-women FAM trip to Phuket, designed to provide an exclusive experience for female agents to enable them to curate itineraries specially for women travellers, showcasing Thailand as a safe destination for women and Amari Phuket and Ozo Phuket as preferred stay options.
The second Onyx Hospitality FAM focussed on MICE travel, with a detailed four-day itinerary covering Bangkok and Pattaya featuring an exploration of top-tier properties, including Ozo Pattaya, Amari Pattaya, Amari Bangkok and Shama Service Apartments showcasing the MICE offerings of the properties. The trips brought together 10 MICE and leisure agents in each group, along with a representative from Nijhawan Group. The goal was to introduce the group’s properties to key figures in the Indian travel industry and to create customised itineraries for travellers and groups.
The group conducted a third trip in collaboration with Aitken Spence Travels Limited. The trip was an exploration of the island of Sri Lanka, bringing together 16 MICE agents from across India. The detailed itinerary showcased the country’s diverse offerings, from luxury resorts to adventure tourism opportunities, further strengthening its positioning in India.
