Marriott International has reached a milestone with the opening of its 9,000th property, The St Regis Longboat Key Resort in Longboat Key, Florida. Spanning over 18 acres, this beachfront resort promises the brand’s elegance and service. The resort features 168 well-designed guestrooms, including 26 suites offering beautiful ocean views.
In addition to the hotel accommodations, the resort holds 69 private branded residences, providing an extraordinary luxury living experience on Florida’s Suncoast. These residences, which sold out in under a year, come with spacious outdoor terraces, private elevator access, and other premium features, setting a new standard for luxury living.
“We are delighted to announce the opening of The St Regis Longboat Key, a true testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled luxury and personalised service,” said Anthony Capuano, President and Chief Executive Officer, Marriott International. “It is particularly fitting that this magnificent hotel marks the 9,000th property in our portfolio. Developed by Unicorp National Developments and designed by SB Architects, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA Miami), and Dutch East Design, The St Regis Longboat Key Resort marks the largest development on the island in over 50 years. The resort’s opening was celebrated with a signature St Regis champagne sabrage ceremony in the resort’s Great Hall, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
