MakeMyTrip has unveiled a witty three-film campaign addressing common travel frustrations while spotlighting its diverse accommodation offerings. Featuring bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, the campaign promotes solutions for International Hotels, Homestays and Villas, and Domestic Hotels, making it easier for travellers to find their ideal stays.
The first film humorously tackles the struggle of finding familiar food abroad. Set in an international hotel, Alia and Ranveer’s quest for something “wheatish” underscores the utility of MakeMyTrip’s “Loved by Indians” filter. This feature helps users discover hotels offering Indian cuisine and other preferences, ensuring a comforting travel experience.
“Our latest campaign is rooted in the real challenges travellers face,” said Raj Rishi Singh, Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Business Officer - Corporate, MakeMyTrip. “From finding the right amenities to making smart budget decisions, we want our travellers to experience ease and delight with every stay choice. Alia and Ranveer bring a dose of humour to each unique scenario, delivering a message that resonates deeply with every type of traveller.”
The second film highlights the financial sacrifices travellers often make to afford premium stays. Alia and Ranveer’s playful attempt to turn hotel amenities into gifts sheds light on MakeMyTrip’s affordability factor. With deals like a 25 per cent discount for new users on domestic hotels, the platform ensures quality stays without breaking the bank.
In the final film, Alia humorously finds herself managing tasks in what she assumed was a fully serviced villa, with host Ranveer leaving her to fend for herself. This highlights MakeMyTrip’s diverse villa options, ranging from budget to luxury, offering transparency and tailored services to meet travellers’ expectations.
