Kamei has introduced its new winter menu which factors in seasonal produce and robust flavours to complement the weather

Kamei is all set to woo the city with a new set of dishes for the upcoming season. A beacon of elegant minimalism with an inspired stroke of luxury, the world of – Kamei is a journey across East Asia. Kamei embodies the spirit of the resolute turtle. A tale of fresh, seasonal ingredients, rich flavours and heritage recipes and a constant whisper of change and innovation. This is also the perfect time to enjoy their exclusive al fresco space enveloped with serene flora of the lawns, the perfect place for a cocktail, a glass of wine, a table full of food, fun, friends and family.

The new winter menu factors in seasonal produce and robust flavours to complement the weather. With the legendary Pork Xiao Long Bao as a precursor, guests are going to discover many familiar dishes at their favourite Asian restaurant, this winter. The comfort of Prawn Dumpling Soup and Mushroom Dumpling Soup will be a welcome respite from the cold. A choice of Crab Nest or Tofu Nest, a choice of Burmese seasoned fresh crab meat wrapped in angel hair pastry or seasoned tofu wrapped in angel hair pastry, on the side. For the main course, the new dishes on the menu include Beijing Style Pork and a lush and fresh Xo Lobster Fried Rice.

The bar at Kamei is an eclectic space that serves as an ideal place to begin a memorable evening. This winter guests can enjoy flavours of Gin and Raspberries with a Shiraz Reduction, Kaffir Lime, Winter Spice, Citrus, finished with an Egg White. The Sesame Macerated Rum, Espresso, Coffee Liqueur and Irish Cream Foam is an ideal spiked coffee enjoyed before or after meal, as an homage to the fruit of the season, the Whisky, Apple & Maple, All Spices, cocktail with a hint Lemon pairs perfectly with the menu. The classics this season are absolute crowd pleasers, from a rum or whisky Hot Toddy to a glass of Mulled Wine, which is like Christmas in glass.
