Ishwinder Gill has taken over as the new General Manager of W Goa, marking a key leadership change for South Asia’s only W hotel. Gill brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new role, promising to elevate the luxury property's offerings and guest experience.
Before joining W Goa, Gill served as Chief Operating Officer at Far East Hospitality, overseeing operations for 26 hotels across Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia. His tenure in Singapore was notable for his role in the successful development of upscale and luxury brands, including The Barracks Hotel, Oasia Resort Sentosa, The Outpost Hotel, and The Clan Hotel.
"I am thrilled to join W Goa and embark on this exciting journey with the talented team here," said Gill. "My aim is to position W Goa as one of the finest aspirational escapes in the country. I am also excited to transition from a regional powerhouse in Singapore to a global powerhouse in India. "Gill has attended Cornell University, USA and William Angliss Institute in Melbourne, Australia for hospitality management".
Gill’s previous leadership experience extends to Australia, where he managed hotels in major cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide, as well as in New Zealand, driving exceptional performance and guest satisfaction.
