ICF Cooks Lunch for Underprivileged Children on International Chef Day

A GRAND  gourmet lunch was prepared and served to underprivileged children by chefs.

Around 350-400 girls relished the meal in the presence of prominent chefs of Delhi NCR.

While the chefs got an opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the challenges associated with ensuring that each child receives a nutritious meal for their mental and physical growth, they, in turn, gave the children tips about importance of hygiene in their life and do’s and don’t while, before and after having their meal.

Commenting on the event, Chef Davinder Kumar, President, Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) said, “Following our tradition, we have organized yet another grand luncheon for the kids. I feel privileged to be associated with such a social cause. It’s an extremely proud moment for me to see my fellow chefs coming together to work for such a noble cause, going beyond their regular cooking schedule. We served good meals for the kids and educated them on how to maintain good hygiene in their life.”

“I would like to thank my fellow chefs for their unwavering support as we continue to explore new areas of work for better lives of underprivileged children. ICF Chef & Child have been working for the better life of underprivileged kids for decades, and will continue to do so in the future by exploring better ideas for the same,” said Chef Vivek Saggar, General Secretary, ICF.
