The Hyatt Centric Cambridge opened today, according to Hyatt Hotels Corporation. The historic opening marks the debut of the Hyatt Centric brand in the country and the tenth Hyatt hotel in the United Kingdom, demonstrating Hyatt's strength and continued growth in the region. The 150-guestroom hotel is located just outside the centre of Cambridge, which is known for its leafy parks, magnificent architecture, picturesque River Cam, and stunning historic centre. It is the ideal starting point for adventurous travellers to explore the buzzing city.
Located two miles northwest of the city's historic core in the new sustainable neighbourhood of Eddington developed by the University of Cambridge, guests can explore the quaint cobbled streets or enjoy an afternoon punting on the River Cam, passing by stunning University colleges. The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge's largest and most well-known museum, is only a short drive away. Wandering through the museum, visitors will come across works by Monet, Picasso, Rubens, and Rembrandt. Guests will be able to experience the true Cambdridge experience, connected to the heart of the action, by renting electric bicycles.

A carefully curated collection of artworks nods to Cambridge's scientific history, adding vibrant splashes of colour to the communal spaces.
