Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Grand Hyatt Kunming, marking the debut of the Grand Hyatt brand in China’s Yunnan province. Located in Spring City 66 plaza, the hotel boasts 331 appointed rooms and spacious suites offering luxury, comfort and panoramic city views.
Designed by MQ Studio from Shanghai and Nao Architects from Tokyo, it embodies Yunnan’s charm, heritage, and natural beauty to create a luxurious and culturally immersive urban retreat. It also has five distinct dining and drinking venues, Grand Café, Yun Xiang, OSARA, Patine Lounge and Altitude, each offering modern gastronomy as well as classic and creative dishes rich with the essence of Yunnan.
The guests can engage in different activities with a 25 meter indoor pool, two luxurious spa suites and the fitness centre, well equipped featuring a sauna and a yoga studio. With over 20,451 sq ft of versatile event space equipped with advanced audio-visual technology, it also serves as a venue for business meetings and conferences.
