Galeries Lafayette unveils 130th Christmas festivities

Galeries Lafayette’s Paris Haussmann flagship store commenced its 130th Christmas celebrations on November 14, 2024, with an elaborate event featuring French pop star Vianney and acclaimed fashion designer Kevin Germanier. The event included the unveiling of eleven window displays created by Germanier, showcasing the store’s rich heritage, and a performance by Vianney beneath the iconic dome.

A striking Christmas tree was also illuminated, showcasing programmable LED lights and synchronized sound and light performances. Vianney entertained the crowd with his rendition of "Love Is All Around" and other popular songs, supported by the Maîtrise de Radio France choir. This marks the continuation of Galeries Lafayette’s century-long tradition of creating magical holiday experiences.
