Deltin reopens with 100% vaccinated staff

India’s luxury gaming and entertainment brand ‘Deltin’, owned by Delta Corp Ltd., opened its door with 100% vaccinated staff after receiving the necessary go-ahead from the Government of Goa. In Goa, Deltin owns three luxury gaming destinations off the shores of the scenic Mandovi river at Panjim and operates a land based casino in its five-star luxury hotel ‘Deltin Suites’.

Earlier last month, the company also launched a campaign with the tagline “We are Ready” announcing 100% vaccination of all its staff across its properties in India and Nepal. With an aim at creating awareness & encouraging people to get their vaccination, the campaign was further circulated through all social, digital and direct channels targeting patrons and general public.

“We are thankful to the Govt of Goa for providing us the necessary guidelines to resume operations. Casinos are a major tourist attraction and opening casinos will not only help reviving the long struggling travel & tourism industry but also lakhs of people employed in it, who were badly hit by two waves of the pandemic. We will not only follow all govt guidelines but also have kept our own stringent health and safety protocol ‘BestAssured’ in place,” said Anil Malani, CEO-Deltin.

Goa, a major gaming destination, had closed down all the casinos since the second wave of pandemic hit in the month of April. Other gaming destinations, where ‘Deltin’ has its operations, like Sikkim and Nepal, opened respectively in August and September.
