DEEP VAHI has been recently appointed as Director of Sales for Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport.
With an illustrious career in the hospitality industry, Vahi brings over 11+ years of experience working with various international brands like The Oberoi Mumbai and Marriott International. He started his career with The Oberoi Mumbai as an Assistant Steward in June 2006. In January 2008, he got an opportunity to move to Banquet Sales. In July 2008, he joined Marriott family as a Sales Executive at JW Marriott Mumbai, Juhu and slowly paved his way to being a Sales Centre Manager, managing the Reactive Sales in 2010. In 2012, he got an opportunity to move to Proactive Sales in the same property. In 2013, he decided to venture out to start his own business with Mint Hospitality – Café Royale. In 2015, he re-joined the National Sales Team of Marriott Hotels as a Senior Sales Manager and was later promoted as Associate Director of Sales in 2016.
Vahi has earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Hotel Management, Nasik.
A constant innovator, he has focused on providing service efficiency and has a robust portfolio of responsibilities and achievements to his credit. During his leisure time he enjoys watching cricket and indulges in adventure sports.
