The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences has announced the arrival of Chef Thanakit Sangjan as the new Thai MasterChef at Spectra, the hotel’s celebrated all-day dining restaurant. With an experience in authentic Thai cuisine, Chef Thanakit will introduce an exciting new dimension to Spectra's already exceptional culinary offerings.
Spectra, with its 16,000 sq ft space and capacity for 225 guests, features seven interactive culinary islands and private dining areas, creating an immersive dining experience. The restaurant's design, featuring marble platforms and sparkling chandeliers, provides the perfect backdrop for Chef Thanakit’s dishes.
Originally from Bangkok, Chef Thanakit has honed his craft at some of the most prestigious hotels in the UAE and Thailand, including Park Hyatt Dubai and Anantara Eastern Mangroves in Abu Dhabi. His expertise will now enhance Spectra’s menu with authentic Thai flavours, while also introducing regional specialities.
Chef Thanakit aims to create a welcoming atmosphere for Thai guests and plans to host a weekly Thai Night, allowing Indian diners to explore the bold tastes of Thailand.
