Additionally, creating a seamless blend between technology and utility provides a personalised experience for the guests along with catering to their diverse needs ranging from work, leisure to wellness. “Seamlessly integrating smart technology into the design offers personalised services, from smart room controls to contactless check-ins and dining, enhancing convenience and comfort for guests. Ranjan explains the design of the property, seamlessly blending architecture and cinema to transport guests to the golden era of Indian cinema, she states, “This architectural style, combined with the glamour and nostalgia of classic Hindi films, fuelled my vision for the hotel. I aimed to seamlessly blend these elements, creating interiors that evoke Mumbai's cinematic history while maintaining an elegant international feel. Incorporating nature and environmental elements was also crucial. Specially commissioned artworks and maritime-inspired fabrics reflect Mumbai's connection to the sea and its environmental context. My goal was to offer guests a unique, culturally rich experience by combining artistic expression that celebrates the city's past in a contemporary setting, with a commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness. This approach makes Aurika, Mumbai Skycity not just a place to stay, but a destination that honours Mumbai's heritage while promoting environmental consciousness.”
